Are you tired of hearing how bad everything is and how awful the future will be? I know I am.
In the Book Abundance Diamandis and Kotler talk about how the future can really be abundant, depending on if we believe and act upon that perspective. We have the ability to use technology to create a future with clean air, clean water, and food for all.
We have to get over the zero sum mindset, that if I have more, you have less. We need to adopt the idea that there is enough for all. If we believe that, we will create that future.
I have included the book notes and an interesting link to a TED talk by Ray Kurzweil.
Our question is How do we change our public schools for this future so that we are being proactive, not always reacting. It would be worthy a discussion among leaders of education, business, and politics in our state.
